The event is organized by DOSAAF of Russia, the Russian Parachuting Federation, Administration of city of Menzelinsk and DZ Menzilinsk with the full support of the Ministry of
Youth Affairs, Sports and Tourism of the Russian Federation, Government of the Republic of Tatarstan, Federation of Aeronautical Sport of Russia, DOSAAF of the Republic of Tatarstan,
and Central Airclub of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Please note that in accordance with a decision made at the 2010 IPC Plenary, that notwithstanding Section 5 there will be only 9 AE judges at Menzelinsk WPC.

Registration and Payment:
The Provisonal Entry Form of the NAC must reach the organizer at least 75 days prior to the start of the competition, i.e. by May 17th 2010.
The Official Entry Form of the NAC must reach the organizer at least 45 days prior to the start of the competition, i.e. by June 16th 2010.
Both registration forms will be available on the organizers website wpc2010.skyjump.ru and registration by internet is the preferred method.

The Entry Fees include:

  • IPC sanction fee €90
  • Transfer from airport in Kazan or Naberezhnye Chelny to DZ to airport in Kazan or Naberezhnye Chelny during the competitions.
  • Accommodation in hotel (6 nights starting from July 31, 2 p.m. to August 06, 12 p.m. incl. breakfast based on 2 persons/room)
  • Lunch & Dinner at Dropzone (July 31 (dinner), August 01, 02, 03, 04, 05)
  • Shuttle bus service Hotel – DZ – Hotel
  • Opening & closing ceremonies.
  • Closing banquet.

All jumps according to the competition rules plus one training jump per each event (does not apply for accompanying people)

The cost for each additional night in hotel for each member of delegation will be:

  • In DZ – 40 € per person\night (inc. accommodation + breakfast)
  • In city Hotel – 40 € per person\night (inc. accommodation + breakfast)

The cost of transportation from hotel to DZ and back until official start of the competition is 10 €.

There is no late entry fee

Judges Training Course
Minimum 4 training judges at each discipline have to confirm their application of participation in judges training course until 17 of May, 2010

Entry fee for training judges is (if there will be 4 training judge):

– Formation skydiving – 850 €
– Canopy Formation – 1100 €
– Artistic Events – 750 €

Entry fee for training judges includes:

  • Accommodation in hotel (6 nights starting from July 31, 2 p.m. to August 06, 12 p.m. incl. breakfast based on 2 persons/room)
  • Transfer from airport in Kazan or Naberezhnye Chelny to DZ to airport in Kazan or Naberezhnye Chelny during the competitions.
  • Lunch & Dinner at Dropzone (July 31 (dinner), August 01, 02, 03, 04, 05)
  • Shuttle bus service Hotel – DZ – Hotel
  • Opening & closing ceremonies
  • Closing banquet

Provided there is a sufficient number of training judges entered, the entry fee may be reduced.

Personal requirements:

To take part in the event, a valid FAI Sport Licence 2010, is required.
Each participating country should also bring a national flag (size: 100 cm x 150 cm) and a tape/CD with the national anthem for the ceremonies.

Insurance:

Each competitor should be insured for injury valid for the Russian Federation, covering repatriation costs. Event liability insurance, covering Officials, Judges and competitors etc. will be arranged by the organizer. The immediate medical care (First Aid) is the responsibility of the Organizer during the official event, including training days.

Location of the Event:

DZ – Menzelinsk, Tatarstan, Russia (70 km southwards from airport of Nijnekamsk city)

Description of the Venue:

Menzelinsk Skydiving Center is located in the beautiful Kama River Valley near Menzelinsk city, an old beautiful town in the heart of Russia. It has a large (1700×800 meters) grass landing area with many “outs” and alternative landing areas around the dropzone.

Airspace:

The Drop Zone has a designated airspace with a permanent NOTAM.

Landowner Restrictions:

There are no restrictions as this is a DZ on the airport with year round Skydiving activities.

Transportation:

Details of Access

By plane from Moscow airport “Domodedovo” to “Begishevo” airport of Nijnekamsk.
By plane from Moscow to Kazan airport.
The Organizer will meet delegations at the airport/ train station and arrange transfer to the hotel.

Upon request the Organiser might assist in booking accommodation at Moscow Domodedovo airport, or offer a guide and a guided transfer from Moscow Sheremetievo to Moscow Domodedovo airport.

Please note, that the easiest and cheapest way for you to get to Menzelinsk drop zone will be to take flight to Moscow, and ask the Organisers to assist you in booking internal flights from Moscow to Nizhnekamsk. The Organisers will accept requests until 16 June, 2010 (Official Entry Form deadline).

Visa support:

All participants arriving to Russia must have visa. To receive visa it is necessary to send a list of all participants to the Organizers at info@skyjump.ru and attach copy of their passports (open at the photo page) and the city in their country with the Russian Consulate where they would like to receive the visa. According to the rules of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, visas will not be issued earlier then 3 months before entering the Russian Federation.

Aircraft:

Three L – 410 to be used for Formation Skydiving, Canopy Formation and Artistic Events.
Exit speed – 140 k/h, left side door.
Three An – 28 as reserve aircrafts for Canopy Formation. Exit speed – 140 k/h, tail gate.

DZ will be open for training jumps from July 12 to July 31, 2010
Aircrafts to be used: L410, An-28.

Cost of a one jump in FS – € 18 – per person
Cost of a one jump in CF – € 15 – per person
Cost of a one jump in AE – € 18 – per person
Training at other periods may be organized upon request to the Organisers.

Accommodation:

  1. CF Participants will be accommodated in bungalows on DZ. Each bungalow consists of 2 rooms with independent entrances, double accommodation per room. Bungalow facilities:
    lavatory with shower-room, 2 beds, table, cupboard, TV, air conditioner, fridge, wi-fi internet connection.
  2. FS and
    AE participants will be accommodated in hotels in the city of Naberezhnye Chelny.
  3. Judges will be accommodated as determined by respective Chief Judges in bungalows on DZ.

Hotel “Tatarstan”

Media Plans:

There will be a media representative on site as well as a designated media area with phone, fax,
internet etc. Contacts with companies, sponsors and media have been initiated.

Judging Equipment and Facilities:

There will be a designated area for each judging panel, including training judges (if applicable).

Wind Socks and Wind Speed Meters:

All required wind speed indicators will be provided.

Public Address System:

A loudspeaker system will be used for announcements throughout the DZ. Radio equipment will be available for communication between the personnel, judges, manifest, etc.
